Re: can this be done

Of course it can be done.. anything can be done.. But what you must consider is how much it will cost you and the work involved in it. You would basically have to gut his entire car. You would need his rearend, tranny, fuel pump, radiator, and lots of other stuff for his LT1 to hold up well in your car. Honestly, it's just not worth it man. If you've got the money and you wan't a V8, then buy one or trade yours in. It would save you alot of money and time in the long run. Maybe you could buy his and fix it up? Just a thought.

Well as I said, in the long run, it would save you time and money.. heck, it'd save you a pint or 2 of blood at that. I say stick with your current engine. It's really not that bad. Just put some mods on it as I metioned to you in your other post, and it'll be a quick little puppy. But if you're all gung ho about getting a V8, then yes, trading it in would be the cheaper and wiser route to go.

Yes, I do have a 3.4 as well. I'm really unsure as to how much HP I have after my mods, I have yet to take it to a dyno, and probably won't until I get my new rims. That's what I'm saving up for right now. And stock, the 3.4 comes with 160 HP @ 5000 RPM, and 194 ft/lbs @ 2700 RPM.
