2G Eclipse RS Drum to Disk Brake Conversion
I have a '98 Eclipse RS. I know that the drums are lighter and work just fine for a 1/4 mile drag, but I'm going for all around performance. I'm trying to convert the rear drums to discs so that I can attach an 11'' - 12'' big brake kit. (I've already ordered some 13'' disks for the front.) Basically I need to know part numbers, since I can't find any 2Gs in the junk yards around here. Here's what I need:
Parts: (these must be sourced from a 1995-1999 GS, GS-T or GS-X) - 2 brake caliper hoses - 2 emergency brake assemblies/caliper mounting assemblies that has the emergency brake cables attached. Installs as one unit. Oh yeah, I am fully aware that the GST, GSX, and even the GS come stock with this... so don't rub it in! lol : :

Re: 2G Eclipse RS Drum to Disk Brake Conversion
lol That's where I got my info from. Unfortunately, I can't find a 2G Eclipse in any junk yard around here, so I need to know part numbers. And the morons at the Mitsubishi dealership can't figure that out for me. I might have to call another one just to get part numbers.
Oh well... I'll add the info if I get it so the info will be here for other ppl. |
