The low coolant light on my 1999 regal flashes intermittently (about 5 seconds apart), but the coolant has never been low and the car does not overheat. Any ideas as to the problem?

Re: Low coolant light flashes
Quote:
When electrical connector is disconnected the low coolant light should illuminate steady. If its still flashing then the problem would appear to be in the wiring up to the instrument cluster. Its a direct shot and nothing in between except connection points, etc. It does not go through any other modules such as the BCM. Or if the low coolant light goes out, illuminates steady, stops blinking or there is a change then it would point to the coolant level sensor. Good luck!
