Completed: Ferrari California Spyder #20 LM'60
I built this as a "sister" project with my Open headlight conversion
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=395845 Model represents California Spyder that was entered in 1960 Le Mans by North American Racing Team. Base kit is Italeri/Revell 250 GT California Spyder. I used the Replicas & Miniatures co. of Maryland interior kit to replace kit supplied interior parts and wheels from Gunze Sangyo GTO kit. Tires are from Revell Jaguar XKSS. Modifications to the base kit include replacing exhaust tips with ones made from aluminium tubing, bumberettes were shaved off and bumbers were painted with alcad chrome. Side windows are made of thin clear plastic sheet.     -Niko
