Plug wires

1992 chevy G20, got spark plug wiresall mixed up . Can someone tell me which wires from the plugs go to which position on the cap. Also van starts with no problem then all of a SUDDEN IT DOESN'T WANT TO START. IT WILL TURN OVER. Seems not to want to start when van has been driven from place to place, but has also happened in the early morning after sitting all night. Once It's running it does not stall at all it runs well. So far Ive changed the fuel Filter, plugs cap and rotor. Any other suggesstions?

Re: Plug wires

Sorry the distributor got messed-up (ASCII art...). It was supposed to look something like a round thing at the back of the engine. The position of the cylinders is correct, and the order around the distributor is correct, just make sure and start with the cap position closest to the passenger compartment. As far as not starting, likely candidates are the ignition module (located inside the distributor) and the fuel pump. If you are getting fuel, try changing the module. It isn't difficult.
