91 626 taillight problem
My sister owns a 91 Mazda 626 and my nephew recently decided to put a new stereo. He did not have the patience to order a stereo wiring harness so he decided to hard wire everything. Believe it or not the thing works, but now when the headlights are turned on the fuse for the taillight blows and the dash lights don't work. I took a quick look at it, but can't find the short. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there somthing in the stereo wires that could cause this? I know the stereo is tied in with the dashlight dimmer, could this be it?
