Angry 2002 Venture NO HI BLOWER others OK

I have a '02 Venture that a month ago the HI blower failed to blow. The circuit Breaker checks good. There are no blown fuses in car or under hood. Years ago I remember the HI out meant a fuse link may have popped. I'm not even sure where the fan is on this beast. The other speeds are fine.

Any Ideas????

If I remember correctly, there is a RELAY on the Blower Motor Resister module that is used for the highest fan speed. If that relay can not be replaced by itself, it is time for a new resister module.

PS. The resister module is mounted on/near the blower motor assembly.

Take Care,

Inside near where Passenger feet would be. You will have to remove the insulator panel to see it.

Take Care,

I have been troubleshooting my low blower speeds and from what I have discovered your hi speed problem is probably as GregA siad "the integrated relay" on the resistor module may not be switching.

To remove the resistor pack once it is found is trickey but only the front screw needs to be removed. The rear 2 need only be losened. This would probably become apparent if you had a new one in your hands.

Thanks for the hints. Going on Vacation Saturday. I will fix when I get where I'm going.
