Broken vacuum line from vacuum switch to vacuum ball
I have a 97 Blazer with a broken vacuum line that goes from the vacuum switch (the three line one on the transfer case) to a tee near the vacuum ball under the hood. The line is broken in two places.
I clamped off both dangling ends by folding the hose over and putting a hose clamp on. Can I drive this way for a while? What did I lose - will I just lose the ability to go in to 4x4 modes? I plan to change the line out as soon as I can, but I am just wondering about driving around in the meantime. Thanks!!!
