Radiator Drain Plues

Hey, my 99 cherokee sport, 6 cyclinder, 2 wd was overheating the other day. I added coolent still overheat. so I decided to put new thermostat in. While doing this i realized i have never flushed the radiator and well it is a bit ugly in there.

So I got my flush, but i cannot locate the drain plus on the radiator?
I tried to consult my manual...however, i must have misplaced it.

Where is it located? Or maybe i should just drain it from the bottom hose on the radiator , but since it is not at the very bottom worry about getting a bunch of crap left in the bottom.

thanks in advanced
