95 maxima releases all the coolant
My 1995 maxima 160000 miles just started releasing all the coolant overheating and then the rpm's won't throttle over 2. If I put back in the coolant and played with the coolant temp switch it starts to work again. I went to the mechanic and he said my radiator is cracked and the switch is bad. $400 later it still does it. Please help. Thanks

With that mileage swap thermostat & pump. After that, bleeding air - it is important how its done. I keep some joint or screw ajar, just trickling coolant out, keep 2000rpm for one hour (drivin) while adding liquid.
