What color to paint my air vents?
I have a 95 civic with white exterior and kinda brownish yellow tan interior. I wanna paint my air vents and stuff but i don't know what color will look good with the tan. What color should i use?

Don't do it at all, you'll thank me later.
But if you must, I guess white would go well with the exterior, no?

For what it's worth...
I almost got all my interior accents painted to match my car's color (silver), but after I considered it for a while I changed my mind. What I did end up doing was painting only the 4 smaller pieces of vent plastic. I know 6g setup is obviously a little different, but basically, I painted the trim around the vents on the far left/right, and then I painted the smaller vent covers further up on the dash. The effect, rather than having an overload of color, is more of a tasteful accent that just barely flavors the car's interior. My headunit is silver, and I added a silver shift knob. I've received a lot of comments about how tastefully everything was set up. You might consider something like that, rather than painting large portions of the dash. C

CivicRacerX, got any pics of that? I'd like to see what you're talking about and how it turned out.

Actually, my car is in the shop because someone broke into it and tore it up with a crow bar. I'm supposed to get it back next week, I'll be happy to take some pics then.

Yeah, usually it'll look like shit, and then chip away and look even worse. And a lot of times people will paint the interior wild colors, then grow old of them and wish they never would have done so. I have friends that did, thankfully I never went that far with it.

Hey, I just thought of this. When I first did mine, I used water-soluble paint from the arts/crafts section of Wal Mart. Sort of a test run to see if I liked the look. It came off very easily so it was no good for a permanent setup, but that also makes it ideal if you aren't sure about painting them permanently. It was a brand called "Folk Art" I think. Came in a good-sized bottle.
