Is there different kinds of "oils" for GM A/C systems vs. Ford & Dodge? I read somewhere that the stuff for GM was "thicker". I am not refering to the R134 refridgerant, but some other additive used. I thought it was in this forum, but I cant find it now.
Anybody know anything about this?

Re: Need A/C Info.
Most GM cars and trucks use a PAG Oil with a 150 viscosity. It really depends on the type of compressor.
I found this on the web http://www.idemitsu-usa.com/page_239.htm I used 150 when I replaced the compressor on my 96 Impala SS. //2000CAYukon |
