96 Achieva strange electrical problem...
My girlfriends 96 achieva is draining the battery while the car is off. When you put the key in the ignition is makes a whining/buzzing sound from the steering column which stops if you click the turn signals on.
We just got a new battery for her 4 days ago and its drained. I cant think of anything else to add, if anyone needs more info to possibly diagnose feel free to ask me. =) Any help is appreciated. |

its called parasetic drain when you loose voltage overnight......
it could be a short in your multicontrole switch ( turn signal, light switch and cruise controle switch) which is sucking voltage and killing your battery..if you keep buying batterys it will happen over and over... i recomend to change the multicontrole switch( not a cheap fix)
