Re: what's wrong with gsr?
You should be right up there at 15.3 or so I thought. the 1993 GSR is a 1.7 liter vtec motor right? I was under the impression that they ran about the same time as the newer GSR's with the b18c1.

maybe its old and tired, or maybe you just need more practice with it. They are tricky to launch. with practice and a properly running 2nd gen you should be able to beat a newer gs-r.

there's more than just HP and weight. Gearing plays a large role(however he may have you there as well). Also driver plays the biggest part. Tires also play a role. Sticky tires will dramatically increase performance (acceleration and handling) edit: I also forgot that the B17 while yes it does have the same HP it puts out more torque and has a better torque curve than a B16 does. Having a better torque curve in the B17 allows you to sustain your torque better and build the 160 HP sooner in your rpm than he does.

b17s are awesome motors yea being with snow tires can hurt your times a comp test might not hurt. |

Altitude plays a big role in 1/4 mile times too guys. He might be at a high elevation.
