leaking oil pan

i have a 98 with a 2.0 automatic , the only other person i know with one of these cars has had the same trouble this year... are leaking pans really that common....news

I also have a 98 2.0 auto My pan leaked also. I just did a 1/2 turn on all the bolts on the pan . its holding so far

i had the same problem with my 98 2.0 also and i took it in and was told it was some oil sending unit or some stupid thing like that which ive never heard of before but it wasnt expensive with labor it only cost me about 60$ it was about a 10$ part i think
