My '92 LeBaron is in rough shape. I just got a new top for it, new Pirelli tires and a new exhaust from the cat back. However the I blew the head gasket, the valve cover gasket is gone on the rear of the engine and the front one is on its way out. I have the opportunity to drop $2000 into a long block(entire engine and components) or to get a new carfor about the same amount.
Is it worth getting a new car or putting the money into this LeBaron which hasn't been good to me so far. any opinions are appreciated!!! ~Stacey

well the Lebaron is officially back in action! It has a motor with 80,000mi. on it. It seems to be fine. At first, however, I did get a little scared when I started driving it because when I stopped I saw smoke coming from the hood. I decided I wouldn't worry becuase it was probably only fluids that my have been spilt after the new engine was installed. And since, I haven't seen any smoke! YAY...but it sucks that the car is now my dad's winter car...and I need to look for one. Oh well
