2000 Suburban - fan like noise even though vehicle is off
The Wife gets home from the grocery star and even though the car is off there is some kind of fan that is still running - now it has been 30 minutes. The only unusual occurence was earlier in the day she drove through about 3 inches of water and the ABS light came on for a bit. Is there a fan that dries the breaks? In 5 years I have never heard this sound.

Fuel pump wont shut off maybe? Where is the noise coming from?

I was thinking about waiting until the end of the month to get the pump fixed - just juggling some finances you know. Do you think it would be kosher to go without ABS until then? The regular brakes & brake lights are working fine. |
