Cool Ass transplant #2

Well i just finished my rear swap...it wasnt too bad..the pita part is getting the new rearend back on...man i love posi it is so much better.And it pulls a whole lot better.I have put the adjustable pv valve in yet because it seems fine but that going on next weeked..ive had enough for this weekend.

cool man, the posi in my car stopped working, so a rear swap mar be coming soon

Alright tcfco, thats what i'm talking about. I still got get that damn thing myself (porp valve). Posi is awesome!! J. Cutta, it's doesn't lock up for me (i did the swap also) just burns, burns, and burns!

Most posi units a friction cltuch packs just like in a A/T. And yes, they get burnt up.

J.Cutta:sry but i dont know what you meen by lockup.
blownalcoholboy: do posi's start making a noise when there going out.Mine makes some noise when i make a right turn.
But other than that its pretty cool. I tried real hard to get it in before sunday and i did.I wanted to get it in my sunday because we had a thirdgen meet on sunday and i wanted my rear to be ready so i can kick some ass and i got my ass kicked. Damn tranny isnt working right. but thats a whole nother thing
