Question Running Boards for 2003 Silverado 1500HD CC

Can anyone tell the proper way to attach 90" BAK running boards to my "03 Silverado 1500HD CC"? I bought the boards online, but there were no installation brackets or instructions. I called the seller and was told they are sold separate, which didn't state this on their web site until the next day. So I went elsewhere to buy the brackets but still no instructions, so I called BAK and the first two operators I talked to said the same thing to me...I'll fax the instructions right over to you, it's been over a week and I'm still waiting. I called a third time and talked to a "vice-president" who sent me to another site, said the other site's installation instructions are the same as theirs. The other site’s product is installed with more brackets and hardware then BAK’s brackets, so I called the “vice-president” back again and this time was told, “Just evenly space the brackets and drill holes into the pinch weld” So this is where I run into my dilemma, first I’m uncomfortable “just drilling”; and second there are only four threaded lock nuts welded into the pinch weld; but they only go as far as the start of the rear door. Seems to me a bracket should be installed under the rear door? Any installation advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Gadget
