Bare Metal Foil Q.

Hi guys,

I've been doing a bit of research on bare metal foil (BMF), and from what I've read I get the impression that one side of it has an adhesive on it.

Is this correct?
Do all BMF products have adhesive on them?

Thanks for any input!
Cheers,
M

Re: Bare Metal Foil Q.

Yes that is right, comes with adhesive backing. All their different colours are the same, chrome, gold, black, etc.

All have adhesive backing.

And avoid the mistake made by many, do NOT get the Ultra Bright foil, it's awful...it's not smooth, and doesn't have enough adhesive.

The only foil they have that works well is the original chrome (which looks amazing when it's buffed like paint). All the others seem too thick and don't have good adhesive.

That, I did not know. So do all you guys use the original chrome? I've only ever used the Ultra bright and Gold.

Cheers

Re: Bare Metal Foil Q.

I've only ever used the ultra bright chrome once and had to resort to using PVA glue to make it stick. Sounds like ZoomZoom is onto something!

Once you try the regular chrome, you'll throw out the Ultra Bright.
