What's causing sound/vibration

I have a 96' blazer and when I turn all the way to the right (not left) i get a humming noise and a very subtle vibration comming from my right wheel well. I'm sure it is not the tire rubbing cause i'm only using 30x9.5" tires on my stock blazer. please advise!

I had the same noise/vibration with my 2000 Blazer. I can't say this is the exact problem you've got, but check it out. I also only have a 30" x 9.5" tire and it started off as just a little noise and rub, then got loud. It was only when I turned left. If you look at the wheel well when the tire is turned all the way to right, there may be a little (or big) dent in the wheel well pushing out in some place that will hit the tire. Compare your left and right front wheel wells. If it's sticking out, there's your problem. Too fix this, I just took the wheel off and took a rubber mallet to it. Can't gaurantee this is your problem, or if it is, I can't gaurantee this will help.

For me, "pulling into the driveway" speeds. (the whole front going down then up into the driveway.)

Re: What's causing sound/vibration

CV joint may be bad, check for tear in the CV boot.

I work in the mountains and i take winding roads the whole way to work. The sound/vibrations occurs when i make right turns while rolling through signal lights but mostley when i'm cornering on a turn at speeds 10 mph up to 45 mph. I'm 99% sure its not the wheel against the well cause I am not even turning the wheel all the way. The boot looks good on the cv joint but i dont really know my way around indepent front suspension.

Re: What's causing sound/vibration

It is that or your bearing.

Also, you might want to grease your front end.

There are 10-11 grease fitting you should do every oil change.

And no, you don't trust the oil change place to do it.

They might hit 6 of them MAX.
