Re: Lowering a S10

Spindles, and you'll need 4 new shorter shocks.
Blocks are fine for the rear.
You'll need an alignment afterwords, even if the kit sayes that you don't

Talk to the auto boneyard for the parts, and you might just get lucky. Get them to put it on their nation wide computer if you have to

Re: Lowering a S10

well first and formost, ive already lowered mine, and if you dont have access to the "specialty" tools, drop spindles are the only thing i reccomend, i did springs, but i also did mine in an automotive shop, and in the back i put leaf's and drop blocks, both were easy, but if you go with springs remember, s 10's are directional, meaning you can install a leaf spring the wrong way and it pushes the wheel back to far... all in all, if you know you dont have much cash in hand, wait... its expencive, and then when its down there, its anoter 40 bucks to align the toe, and if your camber comes out of align... whooo that is expencive because our trucks need shims, meaning its labor intencive to re-do the camber angle...

Definately agree, spindles are the only way to go. I agree with everything else that was said with the rear.

Make sure you spend your money on quality parts especially shocks. The shocks can make all the difference in the world of how your truck rides.
