Im looking to buy a 95' thunderbird super coupe with 113,000 miles on the tranny and body and a fairly new motor with 13,000 miles. The only thing wrong with it is the radio doesnt work and drivers window motor occationally stops working. Would it be worth paying $2,500 for and what known problems should I look out for? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello!! I have a 1989 Tbird Supercoupe with 80k original miles it is fully loaded and has a stick shift I have the original window sticker from when it was purchased new and it was 25 grand ,,these cars are expensive I would assume that you have a pioneer radio and it has a amplifier that is located under the package shelf in the trunk ,,this is usually the failure with these radio,s. The window motor is probably an easy fix they can be bought for about 40 bucks or so new at auto zone. If it has good oil pressure when it gets hot and the Supercharger isnt real noisy ( a little noise is typical) and the tranny is tight then buy it cause I wouldnt sell mine for 2500 and its an 89 lol,,enjoy the car they run strong and have unlimited top end ,,I have had mine up around 130 and had more to go.

if you can hear the window motor trying to work then yours can be fixed,,if you take off the door panel and then pull the window motor off ,,right by the gear that drives the regulator there is three screws ,,take them out and pull the cover off,,normally you will see a bunch off little pieces of the blue barrels broke up inside there,,I found that is you get some 5/8 glue gun sticks and cut them about a half an inch long and put three of them in the opropriate spots after cleaning out the little pieces ,,put the cover back on then the window motor will work like new,,if the motor doesnt work at all or you cant hear it turning before you take it apart then you should buy a reman from auto zone ,,they are fairly cheap.
