Denali/Escalade Nav Screen Cracked
I could use some help. I own a 2003 Denali and purchased from a shop a Navigation system that came out of a 2005 Escalade. As I was attempting to put it in my Denali, I knocked something against it while it was on the bench and cracked the screen. What are my options? Can I get just the replacement screen? If so, where would I get one? I did talk to a company called Specmo, and spoke with their technician. He advised me that he had one, but couldn't sell it to me because of liability issues dealing with Mercury, etc. I then asked him if he could give me that name of a supplier, again no. (unless they do the work, he wasn't interested in helping) I would have sent the unit to them but they wanted to charge me an additional $550 to exchange it. This on top of what I already paid is pretty much out of the question. So, any advice? My truck is still under warranty. Thanks for your help!
