New to eclipses, got a 1993 eclipse gst with bad bottom end??

I got this car, extremely clean, for reasonable. If I wanted to just drop a JDM engine in it, what is the best one to look for (besides the ultra high dollar evo versions??)? Its a front wheel drive turbo car. What are the differences in the pistons, rods, and compression ratios, and main bearing caps of the 4g63t variants, as Ive tried to searcha nd decipher, but, WOW, lots of info, not well organized. Thanx.

I'd look for a low milage 6 bolt engine out of a GSX, GST, TSi, or TSi AWD. They came out of 1990's, 1991's, and most 1992's. Just be sure its a turbo engine.
