The procedure is pointless, to anyone that doesn't own a Tech II, but it does have a little info about the code and it's causes.







Keyword: Transmission tranny slip slipping p1870 1870 TCC torque converter convertor valve body

Or as my dealer would say, "considered normal, does not affect reliability." Whew, this new stuff is getting out of hand when it takes all this to diagnose a slipping tranny.
