i have a 91 celica it has 2 doors and is not a hatchback it says GT on the back and nothing more...
can someone tell me bout it...it has the 5gfe motor right..
is it good/worth adding a turbo too

ur gt is the coupe version it has a 5sfe 2.2l dohc with 130hp and 140 lbs. of torque. ur best bet if you have plenty of time and money and good knowlege of engines or a good mechanic is a 3sgte swap. it is a turbocahrged 2.0l with 200hp for u.s. versions and 225hp for the jdm version. you can turbo ur 5sfe but you cant run high boost and the 3sgte has more potential. poweredbytoyota.com has a 2500 dollar kit for sale ior you could build your own using parts from a 3sgte. if your new to cars and dont have alot of money yuou can do ur basic intake headers and exaust mods and have about 150 hp.

yea i think the fuel injectors are fucked or the valve cover gasket is leakin into the spark plugs because it is slow as all fuck...celica's stock aren't too bad are they???
and how much would proformance intake and exhust cost on average?

well 5th gens are not very fast. theyre a 16 second car. so dont expect alot out of it. you can get an intake on ebay for 30-50 bucks with a k&n filter. and pacesetter makes a cat back exaust for about 200 headers for this car are prices though about 400-500 bucks.
