i wonder how much the all aluminum ls1 weighs compared to the iron KA or the aluminum SR including the turbo, piping, and intercooler.

The LS1 weighs 405.5 lbs with oil and a flexplate (the manuals with a flywheel in place weigh slightly more).

I can't wait for someone to swap a 600whp KA24DE-T into a C6 Corvette. This guy in Ottawa has an RB26DETT powered 01-02 Mustang.
