i've never had to replace a 1st gen fog light, but the 2nd gen fog lights aren't that bad at all. First you have to pop the outer cover off of them, just reach around the fog light and feel around for the end and just give it a pull. Then you just needs some screw drivers and disassemble the fog light, until you get to the actual light, and just pull out the old light and put the new one in, and assemble everything back together.

Re: fog light replacement

do you guys have any clue what to do when your fog light cover's screw is stripped to the max? any ideas on how to get it off? because my driver side fog is out and its really buggin' me, i've tried drillin' it but its just so tough, and my titanium drill bit won't get through it.

well, if you can just drill a small enough hole in it to where you can get an easy out into the hole and twist it out, that would work. I dont see how you can't drill a hole. My titanium bits drill through sheet metal in a matter of seconds.
