transmission question please help!!!!

when i am gettint up to speed and get to about 55 mhp as it shifts into overdrive it hit almost like a neutral position revs up about 1000 rpms more than what it was aand then slides into overdrive. the ford dealer told me that i need a new tranny. so i did i bought one with 20,000 miles on it and put it in. It also did the same thing. so i sent it back to try another tranny . this time i got one with 26,000 mile. again it did the same thing. i dont know what is going on, any answers. the truck is a 2001 f-150 supercrew. the original trans had 116,000 miles. some one please help me out.

Hiya, Truck,

Sounds like an electrical problem. Some of the clutch controllers for the torque converters (I've heard) are electrical. Same thing on my E40D, A good friend or wrench with a diag reader should tell it.
