2002 Grand Am SE 4 cyl. starting problems. Help!

Hi Guys! I am praying someone can help me here. I just got home from Peoria (about 20 minutes from me). I travelled throughout Peoria for around an hour and a half. Now its like 98 degrees fahrenheit out. I get back and order a pizza for pickup. Half hour later, I go downstairs to get my pizza and nothing....My car wont start. It turns over like crazy, but no start. I have a half tank of gas and checked my fuses. The engine block is VERY Hot to the touch. Should I just let it cool down? Thanks for any suggestions, Nick

when you turn the key do you here the fuel pump in the back turning on and pumping? Does your gas gage work right? My 99's gas gage goes crazy always and only works when you fill it up. (I just keep track of miles) Sounds like no fire/fuel is getting to the engine, since it turns over. It does take awhile for the engine to kool down if its hot out tooo. But I'm sure your pizzas cold as hell though

Got It Goin!

Hey It turned out to be the Passlock System. The security lamp was flashing when i turned the motor over.I simply left the key in the ON position for ten minutes or so. After that I turned the key OFF and then started it and It Fired UP! Theres a tip for you all. I knew that something was weird when I had no gas, air, or spark. That just doesnt happen. Thanks for your reply
