84 Mazda 626: Fuel Gauge Not working

I bought a 84 MAzda 626 with some wiring issues and the big one that bothers me is that i can't tell how much gas i have left. I have no idea on how to attack this problem and anny imput would be helpful. I can't really quess either becouse i bought it this way and i'v never done work on a fuel level indicatert or what ever it needs.

The reason why the fuel gage doesn't work, is probaby because 1 or 2 of the indicater in your tank is busted, you have two indicaters, 1 read for when it is empty and one for when it is full. Almost every shop you will bring it to will not fix it because there is a risk of an explosion, while they weld a new one in, so they will suggest you buy a brand new 200 dollar tank, very few will fix for less then it will cost for the new tank.
