Help!!!!!!!!

hey guys im a newbie but i was tryin to find out a couple of tips on restoring my 88 Grand Marquis.

1) My front dash has a couple of cracks in it and i was wondering on how i can take it out and repaint it and everything.

2) My vinyl top is crackin sumthin terrible and i think i am gonna just take it off and paint the resanded roof but i dont know how to take off the cover without messing anything up?
