check engine code 23,24

I just bought a 93 626 es. the first time i brought it up to 60 mph the CEL came on. I self checked and got trouble codes 23 and 24. In both the Haynes and Chilton manuals there is no code 23 or 24. Online i found at http://www.troublecodes.net/mazda/ that its the right hand heated oxygen sensor. Now in the manuals ive got they describe the sensors as front and rear. Which one is the right hand one, the front or rear?

well i guess i beat you all to it. it turns out the front sensor is also called the left sensor, and has a shorter wire. the rear (post cat) sensor is also called the right hand sensor. i can only say this for the 93-97 626 es, i havent any experience with other models. also, contrary to other posts on this subject, removing the front sensor is very simple, and requires only a pair of needle nose plyers and a wrench. the rear one requires removing a crossmember on the subframe which is held on by 6 17mm bolts, so airtool sockets would be recommended. There was also a post that said one would need to cut the wires and then soder the new sensor in, but all you need to do is buy a sensor with an electric coupling. u can get one at auto zone, advanced auto parts, or napa for 60 bucks.
