'01 neon rt

I may be looking to replace the engine, and would be the largest I can go with, or does someone have a site that I can look at... I will prob end up going with the same engine...

2.4L is the reasonably largest you can go with. I have heard the SRT-4 engine will drop in, but I don't know of anyone who has yet to perform this swap into a second generation neon, such as yours. I think it would be feasable though.

Why are you replacing the engine?

I would love to drop an srt4 engine in an '01 rt....
That would be my last option, Right now I have a sick neon, I have no compression in cyl 2. I am in the processes of tearing apart the engine to check the valves and cyls.... I hope it is just a head gasket tho....
