Thumbs down I changed the Plugs and wires but still not right

I changed the plugs and wires ,,(and boy were the old ones in bad shape) ,,and it did improve it about 75% but still inermitently while at a stop light it will be idleing smooth and then it will start to mis and the tach will fluctuate and going down the road it will do the same when under throttle. It seems better but it doesnt always mis ,If I am going like a grandmom it is basicly ok but under normal driving conditions it acts up. Any more suggestions?? please. I have another throttle body assy. with all the sensors on it and I have a extra crank sensor but it is off a 92 3.8 not sure if they are the same ,dont want to change things that may cause more problems. The Mil light ( service engine soon) doesnt work, the bulb is bad it started to flicker about three weeks ago and then just stopped coming on when I turn ignition on,but then again it has obdI so I cant self test for codes any way.

Two items to check, coils and ignition module. They seem to be the next logical choice since the plugs and wires are in good shape. If that makes no difference then change the fuel filter if it hasn't been changed lately. If it has then you may have a bad injector causing the car to miss.
