Ok, well 2 days ago i figured out that my silenoid went bad. I've been researching for new starters but I'm seeing price ranges from $100-$300. I used to have a 90 deville and its starter only costs about $60 at the local checker... I'm going to check the junkyard later today but does anyone know if there is a cheaper starter out there?
Also, does anyone know where I can get picture to locate the starter and possibly instruction on how to take it of and replace it? I need help asap. |

Re: 98 SC2 Starter
i hope you have small hands
yes the price is high, why i'm not sure, i think the 1.9 is the engine that uses this starter, and eventhough they fail often, there mustn't be that big of a demand for them. http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39714 rear underside of engine, below intake manifold.
