VTEC not working

Well i got a 89 crx with a sohc vtec in it, got a b16 PR3 ECU, but the vtec doesnt work, i checked if the ECU was sendin the signal, and yeah it is, checked it out with a led bulb and it activates at 4,500rpm , also checked the selenoid directly to the battery, and it also worked, my vtec is supposed to sound very loud since my cylinderhead has some work on it, n my friend got a 94 civic ex n has da same work on da cylinderhead n it sounds very loud when da vtec activates, but anyways, just hoping someone can help me out here since the ECU is sending da signal n da selenoid is working, any help ill appreciate. Thanks in advanced!!

Re: VTEC not working

yesoil pressure is important because if the Wyech oil pressure swithc doesnt sence enough pressure, it wont allow vtec to engage.
