Car Layout??

greetings all looking for some tips and info....

I own a 2000 honda civic ex sedan everything stock!

I recently purchased a set of 17" wheels the specs listed on the webpage are as follows

7.0 x 17 e+18/38/45/50 they are team dynamics Monza's 17's

the fitguide on their webpage says something about offset being 45?

my question to all of you is what tires should I get and what size?

I thought I was supposed to get 205/40 17??? is that correct or
going by their website is it 215/40???

also the tires i'm getttin is between kuhmo ecstas supra 712's and the nitto 555's any opinions?

also having them size wheels how would that affect my ride if I lower it?
its basically just a daily driver

thanks for all help and info

Hey Sean, welcome to AF...

I just got 7.5 x 17s with 215/17/40s and they fit perfect. If you are going with 7" wheels, i would think 215's would pe pushing it.

Anyone else with 7" wheels and 40 series tires?
