Another stupid question... but how do you know when it is full? And for the coolant resivoir?

Note: I do not have any type of dip stick of any type for the coolant resivoir nor the radiator.

You shouldn't have a dip stick, the viscosity of coolant is far to low to get an accurate reading off a dip stick, so normally there is a line on the outside of the reservoir, one for "full cold", and another for "full hot", the reservoir is semi-transparent so you can see were it comes up to on the inside.

When the engine is cool. fill the radiator, and then fill the resevoir to the "full cold" line. Run the engine, and recheck, but note that if the engine/coolant is warm when you recheck, you will need to check it vs. the "full hot" mark.

I may have a slight problem then... The coolant resevoir is a black opaque color, and I dont see and fill lines, cold or hot. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place but, the chiltons that I have says check the dipstick... but I dont have one..

Yes, there actually is a dipstick that you use. The lid that says "Engine Coolant Only" is supposed to have one attached to the underside of it. It must have been broken off if you don't have one. Just go to a junkyard for on, shouldn't anymore than a dollar or two. And the dipstick has markings on it for when it the level should be hot and when it should be cold.
