Question stillen intake

i have a stillen intake in my 95' max
its be there for about 6 months, and now my car is starting to sputer and jump when i am in drive at a stop
the mechanic said it was my intake and to put the old one back in

did anyone have this sort of problem?
or and solutions to my problem?
do i need to buy a new one, put the old one back in, etc...

any help would be apprecated

hey try clean it out and clean your throttle bottle. do it now! go buy a k&n recharger kit. clean your intake. while you're waiting for it to dry, spray some throttle body cleaner in your throttle body and rev up to choke the crap out of your pipes. yeah no worry when u see the liquid coming out of your exhaust and the black smoke when you're revving.

give that a try then u go back to your mechanic and say :finger:
