Has anyone ever tried to tow a lowered car?

I have a 91 accord with 2 1/4 inch lowering springs. It also has 16 in rims with 205/40 tires. Has anyone tried to tow a lowered car using a tow dolly from uhaul? Is it possible?

no. if you have coilovers raise it back up.

Hav'nt tried, just make sure the back end isnt too long or it will scrape.

Use a flatbed... or if its really low, request a two piece flatbed. With a two peice flat bed... any car that is lowered 2 inches ground clearance can be lifted

Wow, that's some good info. I would never make it up a regular tow truck. So this two-pc. flabed truck...how does it help? Is the ramp angle really gentle? how does it work?

The bed is divided into two parts.. .the front and back. As it tilts down, it continues to tilt untill the back part of the bed is comletely flat on the ground, and the front part is angled. What they did with my car was leave the back part of the bed at a slight angle, leaving the front part at a little bit more of an angle. I was able to drive straight up it untill I reached the front half... and at that point, they raised the bed a little more and made the front half even lesser of an angle (almost straight). I hope my explanation made sense

yup flatbed it i do with all mycars I feel its safer anyway even my truck gets a flatbed when needed
