important i need help

i have a 89 cav z24 and i just bought a trans solenoid and i have no idea were is goes could someone please help me [email protected]

Is this the Torque Convertor Clutch solenoid? If it is then remove the wheel on the drivers side of the vehicle. Look at the tranny and the cover on the end needs removed. The solenoid is inside that cover. If it is a shift solenoid you will need to drop the pan and probably remove the valve body. With this tranny I would believe that my first thoughts are correct. If not let me know.
