Re: thordall sensor

the throttle sensor is in the throttle box which is connected to the hose to the air filter. the box is under the "3800 cover."

What size engine do you have?

TPS for a 3.1 GM list price $50

TPS for 3.8 GM list price $70

Places like Autozone have them for around $40 - $50.

Re: thordall sensor

the throttle position sensor is mounted on teh throttle body opposite the side that the accelerator cable hooks on. It is attached with two screws and is pretty easy to change. Some replacement sensors have slotted holes and need to be adjusted after installation.
