Lightbulb Replacing Headlight

I have a 2000 Jetta VR6. The passengerside headlight is not working. I would appreciate if someone can tell me how to replace it. Is there a blown fuse that I need to check for headlight?

Thanks

Re: Replacing Headlight

my guess is the headlight itself is out. Pop the hood and on the back of the head light (inside the engine compartment) there is a wire latch pop the latch and pull off the plastic backing plate it takes a lil maneuvering but it'll come off, after that i believe there is a plastic nob you turn to unlock it and remove it, the light is attatched to that nob you'll know what it is because obviously there will be wires running to it, its a good idea to change it during the day you really gotta be able to see what your doing, im in texas so car maintenance isnt a good idea during the day so i went ahead and took 15 extra minutes to do my work at night. i might have forgotten a couple things its been a while since i changed mine but with a lil common knowledge you'll get it.
