Colour Ideas......
Hey guys,
I am looking for some ideas for the colour of my next 2 kits. The first of these is a Fujimi "europe-tune 130" turbo Soarer with a wide bodykit, the 2nd is a BMW B6 2.8 Alpina. I am pretty sure the Alpina only came in a dark met blue, but any other ideas on colours for it would be great, the Soarer is a bit of an oddball, and I think that a wild colour would be good to go with the wild bodykit, something like a met orange, or pearl blue/purple. What do you think?. ![]() ![]() Dan. |

Re: Colour Ideas......
I think car #1 is too boxy for a bright met. orange; that's a color that's better suited to curves...but I think you may be right on the purpley blue pearl (I guess they call it "burple?") Car #2 looks pretty good in the color on the box, but I bet a blue-tinged pearl white or silver would be classy.

I always like BMW's in either shades of silver or met blues.. The box art looks nice. Search arouind on the net and find example paint codes and just nip to halfords and get a can mixed up..!! Sorted..
As for the soarer.. Pass.. Perhaps black..!! It's a very square car, I don't think metallics or pearl /candy paints will look good.. Keep it flat.. |
