new engine?

i have a question to all those metro owners out there, i own a 96 metro 1.0L 5-spd, as of now i need new piston rings, EGR valve, Crankshaft position sensor and also a new O2 Sensor(pre-cat) , would it be cheaper and eaiser to simply purchase a tested crate engine? and install that?also do the new engines come with the sensors i need? and what needs to be bought with the new engine, or does it come with everything i will need?

the ones they imprt from japan will not work in your car. and if you buy a rebuilt engine you will get the head and block and internals, no sensors or manifolds etc. might be better to check around your local wrecking yards for a good engine with low miles
