Washer Fluid Tank Not Working

The washer fluid used to work in my 4.6 1995 tbird but all of a sudden it just stopped working. The washer tank is full, so I know there's no leak. Is there a way I can fix it? Thanks!

Test to see if you are getting power to the pump.
Make sure the electrical connections are clean and secure.
Make sure if there are any filters/screens that they are clean.
Make sure that the tubing is not clogged.
Although not always the case, pump failure is the common fault for the symptoms you have described.

Re: Washer Fluid Tank Not Working

Might sound stupid, but make sure the idiot (in case it was you, replace "idiot" with "person") that filled it last didn't drop the cardboard seal from the washer fluid jug into the reservoir. My ex did that on my first '93 and it took a new pump and almost a 2nd one before I figured out that little seal was getting sucked up against the pump and not allowing fluid to pass.

LOL! Well I'll go ahead and test for all that, if that doesn't work I'll just go ahead and buy the pump, good thing it's not too expensive. Thanks.

Re: Washer Fluid Tank Not Working

Are the wipers working when you push the button? Cause if those arent then you're gonna need a new switch. Thats the case with mine and I decided that they really arent that important right now.
