Injen Intake

I was just wondering if the Injen RD Series Intake for a 2000 maxima is good or not, because i saw pictures of it and it looks like the intake goes in between the radiator and the motor, so i figure that it gets pretty hot in that spot. Can anyone tell me if that intake is worth 250 bucks.

Re: Injen Intake

naa i wouldnt go with injen..they are alright..but 1 thing for me is the 250 bucks..the other is their water issues..if you know..they dont protect against water..so it is possible to get water in your engine and well...toast your engine..

Re: Injen Intake

go to a performance shop and you can have one custom made. May cost a lil more but you get exactly what you want.

Re: Injen Intake

Try Berk Technology also. I think it is pretty much the same as Frankencar. This is what I plan on getting next month for my 03. berktechnology.com

Re: Injen Intake

buddy, i've had an injen since 2002, i live in MA. state of snow and rain. have had NO issues with water or any other problems whatsoever. i, however, know people that have had issues with their berk and frankencar as to tubes breaking off the midpipe. remember, you get what you pay for. if you like the looks and durability of the injen plus if you can dish out the 200 dollars if you look for a GD. i'd say go for it!. if you want an injen lookalike off ebay for 50 bucks and end up with the thing breaking after a few months, don't say i didn't tell you so.
