Project ẽfini

Hey guys I am new here. I bought a Tamiya ẽfini RX-7 and I want to customize it with parts from other cars such as the BBS wheels I took off of a Fujimi VIP kit. I also want to make the exhaust out of aluminum piping as well as other details. I am looking foward to this project and I hope you guys will be able to answer some of my questions as I go along. I have a lot to learn but it should be fun.

Yeah they do look nice, I think I need to re-paint the black center and somehow polish the outer-rim to make them shiney, BBS decals and silver rivets and lug nuts are in planning, need to figure out how to paint more precisely though. Also, I am glad you pointed out that this was in the wrong area, I hope I am not causing any trouble. It wont happen again and thank you for moving it for me.

Right now I am working on the brakes. I want to add the wing and side mirrors seen in the picture just for something a little different I think it will work out well. For the wheels I am debating on wether to leave them black or try my black chrome color that I created, opinions on that are welcome I will try to get a picture of how it looks when it dries.

Re: Project ẽfini

in my opinion that wing looks a little out of place on this car, but it's your model so you can ignore this if you wish.

Are the mirrors ok? I'd rather just not have a wing on her if nothing looks right so off it goes...I will just sand off the little pegs.

Welcome. try using a toothpick instead of a paint brush to paint the rivets and lugs. just get a bit of paint on the tip of the toothpick and dap it onto the rivets. good luck!

Ok so with everything underway there is one question...what color? I could keep it red...or maybe I will paint it black or white...
